At the end of June, 40 candidates were selected out of a great number of excellent applications. The registered participants represent a broad spectre of research interests with academic backgrounds mainly in social and political sciences, environmental sciences and law. Most of the students will come from member states of the European Union and its associate states. However, there will be participants from all over the world. Some participants will even make the long journey from the United States, Brazil, Australia, Uganda or India (to name only a few) in order to attend the training course. The next key date will be the 20th of September – the deadline for the submission of the training course papers.
